I'd like to welcome you to our website, as in John Grundy, and me Shelton Young.  We call the website  KentuckyBassAnglers.com  This is the result of ideas bounced around between us for over thirty years of fishing and running around in the great outdoors.

Hopefully some ideas will work, but we all know that "all" of anything seldom works.  So what we want is for you all to talk to us...or since no one really talks anymore, e-mail your thoughts to us.

So, what will you get here you won't get anywhere else? I honestly don't know.

What you will get are stories...mine and yours. You can submit your stories and if used, you can tell everyone you're a "published author".  Sounds professional doesn't it!  Well, that's all you'll get cause we don't have any money or prises to give away...yet!

Some simple rules; stories have to be legible and in English. (Got nothing against any other language, just can't speak or read anything else.)  Can't cuss (hope to have kids reading this).  Make your stories "entertaining".  We tell stories to entertain, we lie to deceive...we always entertain.  We won't use stories with inflammatory language directed at anyone.

If it's a really good story I may pretend it's mine (actually, I'm at the age where I often don't remember if I read it, heard it, or did it myself).

We hope to have a Marketplace page for outdoorspersons to buy, sale, and trade items of interest to other outdoorspersons.  You'll send us a list of what you want to sell along with your contact information.  Then a potential buyer will contact you...not us.  We have no desire or inclination to be the middleman for any "negotiations."  This way, if ya make a bad deal, it's your fault...not ours.

We'll have some "how to" articles and offer tips and advice on hunting and fishing.  Some will come from personal experience, but it'll probably be something I've read or heard about and adopted as my own (I already told ya about the age thing...remember).

We're going to sponser a few fishing tournaments...unlike anything you've done before.

Are we going to make any money from this adventure?  There's not much point in lying about it...I sure hope so!  But that's mainly John's responsibility.  I'm the one gets to have all the fun!

Since we are just now getting started, there is a great deal more to do and information to upload.  We are reaching out with requests to others, including bass clubs, outdoor business ventures, and individuals that have something to contribute or find the site beneficial in other ways.  So you'll want to visit our site often to see what has been added or changed.
